At only 11 years old, Willow won a sculpture competition with their creation of a hyper-realistic hibiscus flower made only of cheap plastic toothbrushes, and began pursuing fine arts in earnest. Starting with their first purchase offer from a local art gallery at age 14, Willow has donated or been consistently commissioned for fine art and digital art pieces. While their style can vary widely, much of their work, even between vastly different patrons, tends to center around nature - namely, trees. They often affectionately refer to each piece of art as their “saplings.” Here, you see choice examples from the last few years of their diligent work as a “gardener.”

THE FOREST CALLS
Two recent murals commissioned for a living room and a bedroom by the property owners.

RED MOON, WHITE DRAGON
A highly stylized acrylic painting commissioned for an in-home office space. The client’s goal was to have a painting tall and thin enough to hand beside the computer screen so that they could see something they love even in the midst of working.
AS ABOVE, SO BELOW
A commission for a combined birthday/anniversary for two Capricorns who love space. Each of their favorite animals are featured in the center foreground.
ANCESTOR’S CALL
This painting came to me in a dream. An ancestor calls to their kin from the forest through music. A teacher purchased this for their speech and debate class, that roots and “odd” reasoning may never be forgotten.

THE MANY ADVENTURES OF
JASON AND GEORGE
Digital art for a dear friend’s book detailing the beloved memories of her father and his childhood pet. Each of the three photos has a slightly different style to show the emotional and situational context of the story.

A LETTER SAVED FOR YOU
A sample of about half of the watercolor paintings I made to convert the poem I wrote into a children’s book. The tone of the book is a letter of hopes and understanding written by a parent to their unborn child.
